Brief

The first group project was completing the game design in teams which members are including the Digital Media students and BSc CAD students.
The game design concept is an instructional computer game which aimed at 11-15-year-old school children to encourage climate protection.
Our game was named “The World's Mission”.
“The World's Mission” is a world building and educational game, in which the player is tasked to make it a peaceful and livable place for humans and animals once again in a post-apocalyptic world where are damaged from climate change.
I mainly had resposibilities for 3D assets.

World Design

Developer and I sketched the level design.
The contents which set in the game are a player make roads by moving boxes and sticks, or to capture maze, as an endangered animal.
When the player completes the 3 levels, they can goal and save the world on the game.

Character Design

This polar bear was designed as the lead character following the color table which designer created.

Character Modeling

I created the polygon of the polar bear.
It is realistic shape and bipedal walking style.

Texture

I textured the surface of the polar bear, it is not too smooth and white. The part of the face is diificult, because the face is uneven and the tip of the nose is sticking out.

Rigging

I did the rigging and put the Inverse Kinematics for bone. Thsi is the most difficult part of this semester.

Animation

The real polar bear walk by 4 legs, but it is the bipedal style. So it was inspired by the experience of character creation of animal crossing in the lecture.

Project Manegement

This is the gannt chat of this project. I did the red parts of tasks. This group work brought the implovement of technological and language skills.
